We help solve problems.

Third generation. FP Developments has been doing first-of-a-kind work since 1963 — our founder, Fred Pfleger Sr., patented a flea collar that stretches instead of strangling the pet. I took the Class 4 lasers out of that shop and started this one.

What is the solution you seek?

The record

Three generations of firsts.

Not a portfolio. A habit — the family shop has taken the first-of-a-kind job since 1963, and the reason this one exists is that somebody had to keep doing it.

Been told your order is too small? Ask here. A photo and a rough count is enough for me to say yes, no, or "here is who you actually want" — and the third answer is free.

Who runs it

One owner. A regulated-manufacturing habit, applied at shop scale.

I spent my career making sure that regulated manufacturing systems do exactly what they claim to do — and that there is a paper trail proving it. Bear Wolf Customs is that same discipline, pointed at a laser and run at a size where you talk to the person doing the work.

  • Owner, FP Developments. Founded 1963. I took the Class 4 laser assets out of it and spun them into Bear Wolf Customs — which is why this shop starts where it does.
  • Computer system validation, GAMP 5. User and functional requirements, design specs, IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, and traceability matrices for Category 5 systems — the documents an auditor actually opens.
  • Laser marking, at expert level. Fiber, UV, and CO₂. Job templates, serialized data merges, and scan-verified QR and barcode output that reads on the first pass. This is the part I know cold.
  • Welding and fabrication. Conventional and laser welding, cut and assembled here — so a design change does not mean waiting on someone else's queue.
  • DFMA design. Design for manufacture and assembly: parts drawn to be built, not just to look right on a screen. Fewer pieces, fewer fixtures, fewer ways to get it wrong.
  • Project management. Scope, schedule, and a documented handoff. You hear what is happening before you have to ask.

What that adds up to on your job: a proof before anything is marked, a count that matches the packing slip, and a quote that does not move after you accept it.
